Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy

1. Eligibility & Supported Locations

Cash on Delivery is available for all physical handcrafted items across all postal districts in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. There is no minimum cart value required to select Cash on Delivery, and we charge £0.00 in handling fees for this payment method.

2. Order Verification & Dispatch Protocol

To protect our artisan workshop from fraudulent orders or incorrect delivery addresses, we follow a simple 2-step verification protocol:

• Automated Confirmation SMS/Email: Immediately following your order, you receive a verification link or one-tap confirmation SMS.
• Dispatch from Worthing Workshop: Once verified, items are securely packaged and dispatched within 24 hours with a Royal Mail tracking number.

3. Doorstep Handover & Accepted Payment Methods

When the courier arrives at your delivery address, you have the statutory right to inspect the parcel exterior. You may pay the exact total shown on your order invoice using:

• Cash (GBP Sterling): Please tender the exact amount if possible, as drivers carry limited change for security reasons.
• Contactless / Card Terminal: Delivery couriers equipped with portable card readers accept Visa, Mastercard, and Apple Pay/Google Pay.

4. Returns & Refunds for Cash on Delivery Orders

Purchasing via Cash on Delivery does not limit your rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you wish to return an item within the 14-day statutory cooling-off period:

1. Contact sales@flexshopltd.com with your order number (e.g. UK-COD-123456).
2. Post the item back to our Worthing returns facility using our prepaid Royal Mail return label.
3. Refunds for COD purchases are remitted within 3 to 5 business days directly into your UK bank account via secure BACS transfer, or as store credit according to your preference.
